What will the therapy process look like?
We would normally begin with an introductory session where we explore your difficulties and general life context, what you would like to work on in therapy, and I propose a treatment plan. We will also outline some policies and agree professional boundaries. From there on you can decide whether you wish to pursue this further and have the choice of either booking individual sessions as you go, or committing to a bundle of six sessions.
Ideally, we would have sessions weekly at the start until we begin to see a shift, we can then space them out further allowing you to build confidence in becoming your own therapist. After we complete our work together you will be able to book a follow up appointment at any point in the future if you have a wobble and need a little extra help to re-align yourself again.
