Align with Your True Self

Meet the compassionate therapist who guides your journey to mental wellness.

Galina Donevska

Accredited High Intensity CBT Therapist

With extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and seven years of experience working for various mental health services, I am keen to help you achieve a meaningful SHIFT.

My strengths are in helping you reach insight through learning how your mind and emotions work, how to observe your thought processes and be in control of your responses. I draw inspiration from both, ancient philosophy and modern neuroscience. I find beauty and empowerment in being able to help you understand how they are both incredibly relevant to your day-to-day life.

What makes me excited about working on this with you is that through the use of specialised techniques we will communicate with your emotional brain just as much as we will communicate with your reasoning brain, and that is where the real change happens!

How do we achieve the SHIFT?

If you are struggling with depression, general anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, or panic attacks, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help.

Your treatment plan will be mainly based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but will also draw on a range of complementary approaches within psychotherapy to make your experience truly specific to your goals and meaningful.

Guided strategies that foster mindfulness and value-driven living.

Compassion-Focused Therapy

A psychological approach helping people to regulate emotions and develop self-compassion.

Chair Work

Techniques using dialogue between parts of the self to increase insight and emotional processing.
